Jacklett Construction is a family owned and operated construction firm specializing in general contracting, site development and landscape construction.

With more than four decades in the business, the father-son team of Leonard and Lucas Jacklett strive to be experts in their fields. Employing a team of skilled staff, they take their clients through every step of planning, developing, constructing, and finishing a project. Their goal is to provide superior, high quality service, culminating in a finished product that far exceeds their clients’ expectations. Their dedicated team, detail-oriented approach and determined desire to see a project through to the end have made them a leader in both construction and development.

Jacklett Construction specializes in general contracting for high-end, custom designed homes, equestrian facilities, large estates and more, residential and commercial site development and underground utility construction. 

Meet the Family

LEONARD JACKLETT

Leonard is the founder and President of Jacklett Construction, Inc. Born and raised in southern California, he entered the construction field early in life, specializing first in custom landscaping construction before becoming fully engaged in residential construction and remodeling. After moving to the east coast, he continued his work in the construction industry, becoming licensed in general contracting, landscape construction, electrical contracting and swimming pool construction. Leonard currently has over 40 years of experience in the industry and holds contractor licenses in three states. He is also a member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. Leonard believes that his “old school” hands-on approach to a project has set him apart in his field. He has a heart for family and is thrilled to own and operate Jacklett Construction as a family business.


LUCAS JACKLETT

Leonard’s son, Lucas Jacklett, is the vice president of Jacklett Construction, Inc., primarily managing the site development and utility construction side of the business. He spent his childhood learning and working the business as Jacklett Construction developed. After graduating from high school, he transitioned into full-time work for the company, gaining both business knowledge and field experience along the way. Lucas obtained his license as a utility contractor and has worked to expand the site development and utility construction areas of Jacklett Construction. He is currently a member of the Georgia Utility Contractors Association. Lucas and his family make their home in the Alpharetta area.


LEANN JACKLETT

LeAnn Jacklett, Lucas’ wife for over 17 years, has been part of Jacklett Construction for more than 19 years. LeAnn is currently our Office Manager, but has experience in most every area of the company’s administration. LeAnn also has field experience in equipment management, keeping a fleet of equipment and vehicles scheduled for moves, maintenance and repairs, and providing valuation support research. She remains very hands-on with Lucas in managing the Site Development side of the company.


STEPHEN MENESES

Stephen Meneses, Leonard’s son-in-law, is a Project Manager and Superintendent for Jacklett Construction, working very closely with Leonard in overseeing the daily operations of the General Contracting side of the company. He also works with his wife Katie to create the budgets and other administrative documents needed for those operations. Stephen is an active member of the United States Army Reserves, having spent 26 years in the military, including 11 years of active duty and over 24 years in leadership roles.


KATIE MENESES

Katie Meneses, Leonard’s daughter, grew up frequently helping her father on job sites, then joined the office staff at Jacklett Construction doing payroll and bookkeeping. After taking some time to earn a Master’s Degree in Education and to teach for several years, Katie returned to the company. She now helps with the planning, budgeting and administrative processes for the General Contracting side of the company, and participates in client meetings and coordination of vendors.
